Meet Wayne NJ Dentist Dr. Amandeep Kaur Virk

Dr. Virk has lived on both coasts of the United States before making New Jersey her home. She completed her dental general practice residency at Bellevue Hospital and the Gouverneur Health Clinic. She is a member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.

A Lifetime Learner

Dr. Virk strives to make every patient’s experience a positive one, which can be difficult when they are seeking dental restoration or cosmetic enhancement. Her passion for restoring function and aesthetics for patients who have lost all or most of their teeth is reflected in her pursuit of additional knowledge and skills through continuing education at prestigious institutes, including the New York University’s Implantology program, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics Botox and Dermal filler training, and the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine’s continuing education program.

Investing in Herself and Others

Dr. Virk’s free time is spent staying active through cycling, barre, running, and leisurely walks outdoors. However, she believes a life well spent must include time spent caring for others. Recent charitable work includes her participation in the 1000 Smiles Project in rural Jamaica and Dental Brigades in Honduras.

Family Life

Dr. Virk met her husband while living in Seattle, Washington, and moved to New York before marrying him and settling in New Jersey. The transplant took, and they are now raising three children here. Dr. Virk is actively involved in her children’s activities at the Apple Montessori school in Wayne, NJ, where individuality and curiosity are encouraged.
